Description of Services:
Eye Care Assistance The Eye Care Assistance Program was established to assist individuals in need of eye care. The professional staff at the University Eye Institute donates a portion, or in some cases, all of their time and services. Office visits, specialized testing and outpatient surgeries are provided as a professional courtesy according to the percentage or level of assistance for which you qualify. Spectacles, if required, will be offered at a reduced cost and will consist of frames from a special selection. Lenses will be provided as single vision, bifocal or trifocal and does not include extras such as tint, anti-reflective coating or progressive lenses. Patients are also eligible for contact lens examinations and fittings where applicable but there is no reduction of costs on materials.

Asistencia para el Cuidado de la Visión El Programa de Asistencia para el Cuidado de la Visión fue establecido para asistir a las personas con necesidades del cuidado de la vista. Los profesionales del Instituto Universitario del Ojo donan sus servicios por medio tiempo o tiempo completo. Se provee citas, pruebas especializadas, cirugías externas o privadas como cortesía profesional y según el porcentaje o nivel de asistencia que usted califique. Los lentes serán ofrecidos a bajo costo con los marcos de una sección especial. Se proveerá lentes de visión singular, bifocales o trifocales, excluyendo tintes, revestimiento antireflexivo o lentes progresivos. Los pacientes elegibles pueden recibir exámenes de lentes de contacto y ajustamiento, pero sin reducción de costo para los materiales.
